weekend in london

raise up your hands those who ever had a BBQ without breaking a sweat and still with a cardigan/jacket.

i did it yesterday. i was invited to a BBQ hosted by a girl from a cell group i attended on friday. the day was great. sunny and yet with some breeze. perfect for BBQ! it was great fun meeting more people. surprised to know that most of them in the group are malaysians.

i brought a potato salad and a bunch of cherries. all bought from the Borough market on saturday morning. Borough market is like a weekend fresh produce market. they sell vegetables, fruits, cheese, meat and lotsa stuff. all fresh produce. it was pretty nice to walk around there in the morning.

today, i did a london aimless walking tour for 4 hours. since church was near westminster. i took a walk pass westminster (since there were tonnes of tourist, and i am not one!) pass the guards house. (uniformed men on horses not allowed to smile!) , through trafalgar square, to Regent road. i dun believe it but i am looking forward to my little flat to decorate. was deciding on a colour theme as i needed to get sheets and things... will make this a little project of mine and show you guys when its almost done. =)


well, like i was saying, i was at regent street, and saw habitat and zara home, so went in for some inspiration. then continued to soho, then ended up at chinatown. then decided my legs had enough and head home.


home to my couch which is alike a play pen more like it. =) cuz audrey put 2 couches together and with the backing of the sofa like a perimeter, i have been sleeping comfortable like a baby in a cot for the past 1 wk.

oh, there is also a particular male that i share the living room with... yeah, he is called larry.... such a lecherous name too. but he is really shy though, always trying to hide from me as i try to cuddle him .ehehe...
