Saturday and Sunday was marvellous! There was a West End Live event at Leicester Square for the public! Various West End and Broadway cast came to perform snippets of their musical. There was chicago, sound of music, stomp, wicked, avenue Q, mama mia, little shop of horrors, lord of the rings, dirty dancing. each performance was like 15-20 mins long. so it was really nice! there was also a cameron mackintosh selection of songs, like phantom of the opera.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself with Lenny, Jon and Patrick. though i did not catch all the performance, it was really a nice outdoor event, hearing the stars sing in the park. =) felt really privileged to be able to see the perfomances! there was also marquee with magic tricks, the latest pixal film, Ratatouille had booth for pple to take pics for free too! cool! of coz i had a pic taken too! hehe.. hilarious!
oh cannot forget the goody bag which consisted of 2 small box of cereals, 1 cup noodle, a air fresherner (don't ask!!), some cookies and a pack of coffeemate! ha. cool stuff.
i guess such open air events are nice in cool climate countries, i cannot imagine having this in singapore. i would be sweating buckets in 5 mins. hehe...
