i won the boys in monopoly.. it was a clean sweep! no denial...
knocked Jon out of the game first so he could start the cooking.... he even had to give me his prized Mayfair and Parklane property. but i played nice with lenny... he will vouch for me!
Lenny persevered and tried to hold on to his game with his 4 railway stations., but alas, he decided to seek temporary refuge in jail when he saw that he was losing ground and try to regroup. I have to say that Lenny more than a few times escaped my hospitality, but a few visits to my Picadilly pad and to PallMall killed him eventually...
anyhow, the night ended with us cooking chicken rice again. this time, we bought the good stuff.. the Prima Hainanese chicken rice mix. and i tell you.... the rice came out MARVELLOUS! just like the real thing, even the soy sauce which they pour on the chicken usually, they have it in there as well! fwa! super power la!
jon roasted some huge chunk of pork by just adding salt. dun believe all his super nice roast just involved salt la!
it was once again a good dinner and good company and a good day out in the sun in Green Park. ooo.. and not forgetting the dim sum. ok ... jon, bad choice on the fried rice which turned out to be so wet. and lenny.. the ma lai gou.... ai yo... i like the original one! dun like new recipe!
so much for my rambling... Valerie.. are you proud of me?
