the saga continues...

good morning! waking up blurry eyed today and i thought i will start the day with God for a change. =)

after reading my QT which is as always encouraging, i decided to turn to the only other verse which i can remember very clearly. (the other verse is John 3:16! haha) in the bible.

Psalm 121

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

importantly with the study bible which my mami brought over for me !! hehe, i was reading the commentary and the note for v7 caught my eye. it goes,

The saint is preserved, not in the sense that he will never suffer adversity, but that he will go through adversity and come out a winner.

how sweet! ok, i aint no saint! and i am not exactly in adversity now. but how encouraging!

i am so glad i am keeping a blog! so glad i am recording those moments when God is so so so real! I have been truly blessed and protected all my life, but as mere mortals, strangely it is so easy to forget God's goodness when years go by. hopefully this blog is an encouragement to me in future when i am down and out, or perhaps it would be an encouragement to my faithful readers. not that my life is a living testimony and i am some super evangelist, but hopefully, i will just be a little light shining for God la! =)
