and there was another interview...

just before the M HR called to tell me the good news, i was called up by Sg & Pp (read the caps! haha) for an interview tom. fabulous firm.. big name!

i struggled for quite a bit, wondering if i should just go for the interview for the heck of it.

anyway, when i saw the interview confirmation, i decided not to, cuz

1. Firstly, i believe the job with M is God-sent and He would only give me the best!
2. 6 months fixed contract with S would leave me hanging and give me less of an opportunity to look for other roles which require a longer working term after.
3. if i get the role with S, i would be in a dilemma as to which to choose. (doubt i will get it though!)
4. i like the whole vibe of M and think there is huge potential for this company.
5. M has a small office in singapore... (might just go home after 1 yr! Expat pay do i hear??!)
6. the work in S feels very backroom and feels like a data entry role and consist of fixed income data, which i am not great with.
7. role with M might be data entry, but its equities which i am good in. M is expanding and with talk about outsourcing to india... i can contribute ideas to it and be a real asset! ( deja vu pple?)
8. Lastly, come on! its a bird in hand with M! i am a conservative. i dun count my chickens before its hatched. with S, it might still be an embryo!

there you go... the story of my day! and damn is it a GOOD story! hehe
