Don't fret the small things!

today's QT is taken from Luke 10:38 - 42

At the Home of Martha and Mary

38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"

41"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but only one thing is needed.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."


the little story in QT is about this man who decided not to cut his grass. The loss of his wife caused him to reflect on the priorities of his life. So he chose to just take time to enjoy sitting in his garden to enjoy the wild flowers, squirrels and birds...

how true me deem certain chores a MUST to do, errands a MUST to run... laundry a top MUST priority to do. Friends a MUST to meet (ok, dun twang them too often! just prioritise!)

so ... take time to smell the flowers... have more chats.... people are transient.. you dunno when they will be gone...

so there.. my 2 cents worth


so there mami.... dun fret the small stuff like laundry and cleaning the house!!! haha.... let the bugs/germs attack and kill themselves! in the long run the house will be spotless!!!
