God's delays??

today's reading is taken from Habakkuk 1 & 2. it talks about Hanakkuk pleading to God against the Babylonians who were violent and cruel yet God was seemingly not doing anything.

Habakkuk cries out " How long, O Lord" and God replies,

"... but the time is coming quickly, and what i will show you will come true. it may seem slow in coming but wait for it, it will certainly take place and it will not be delayed."

which comes to this point (as of Daily Bread)

'Faith never gives up. It knows that despite appearances, all is well. It can wait without signs or significant indications that God is at work, because it is sure of Him. "Each delay is perfectly fine, for we are within the safe hands of God." said Madame Guyon.'

how true that having faith in God is all we can do when we are hoping for something to happen. This is especially true when we do not see anything happening and what more, the wait is usually slow and a torture which comes to the next point from the Daily Bread which writes...

"We too must learn to view each delay as if it were 'perfectly fine' Postponement are reasons to pray rather than grow anxious, impatient and annoyed."

so i guess the point is *drum roll*
PRAY and to leave the fight to God. He did say His yoke is lighter right?

Good evening, folks... will go back to putting captions for my spain pics before posting it for all you faithful readers!

Adios! hehe
