Justin staying over

This is Justin. my impromto guest in leyton. justin was visiting her sister in Reading (pronounce as past tense of read - ding) and a fan of musicals wanted to pack 4 musicals into 2 day! siao! anyway, i was interested in watching Wicked, so we decided to get tickets for it. but alas, all the cheap tickets were gone! argh and we ended up with Spamalot, which i heard was not bad. anyway, justin wanted to stay 2 nights which i am cool with, but with current situation with landlord i had to decline his request. sigh, this will not happen if he came 1 wk later! i would have been in arsenal by then! so i was treated to dinner and then we had breakfast before i bid him adieu as he explored more of london. well he visited his london office in the gerkin and went to LSE haha! and caught Lion King which he said was good. will have to do it next time then.


Spamalot. 1st thing, the silly ticket girl told us there was only 2 level, hence we bought the cheaper tickets, i mean how high can 2nd level go right? to our horror, it was right at the top, i think level 4 and i tell you, i feel i can reach and touch the top of the ceiling if i really wanted to! *grrrr* so angry with girl. there was this girl who was sobbing away as we figured she was afraid of heights! now you know how steep it is! anyway, to make matters worse, the muscial is really quite shit! not really funny and songs aint that great. i din come out humming any songs. the cast was not fabulous. maybe i was too high up to really see anything. *tsk tsk* the accent was so strong i had problems understanding what they were saying. oh well, was visibly disappointed when we both walked out of the theatre.

thankfully justin was kind enough not to hammer me for picking this musical. saying 'never try, never know' yeah, my kind of motto as well. so i tell you... DUN WATCH SPAMALOT! dun believe they won some tony award as well! chey! lousy!
