This is Jezz. my buddy during the carnival. it was a nice day. sunny yet a nice cool breeze so that people are not sweating like mad. i like the idea that at corners all around there will sprout a DJ spinning and there would be people dancing on the streets. there were also pasar malam style of food stores. the the popular jamaican jerk chicken and goat curry. tried the jerk chicken and was not very impressed, but i guess its pretty mass produced. the parade was ok. but there was just too many people. will prob not go there again... well at least i can say ' been there... done that!'
I love it when the dancers taunt the policeman! haha...
The costumes were really elaborate.
This one is just so colourful.
