what did i do last night?

I talked to God!

yesterday evening, my church had a workshop on Hearing the voice of God. I thought it was pretty interesting and went for it. Cheryl came along with me as well. it was indeed a good time of learning for both of us. Pastor Chua of the church was teaching and after going through 4 points which were mainly

1. Be still
2. Be focusing on Jesus
3. Be flowing
4. Be writing

it was the last point which Pastor Chua encouraged us to do. to pen down our conversations with God. Of coz in a place which is condusive, prefavourably somewhere quiet and without distractions. we were then given paper and pen and time to write down our conversations with God. and we all started with 1 question for God.

my 1st question to God was 'What is your purpose for me in London?'

He revealed to me his plans and was even so specific about the plans of actions for me to take. actually, the first thing He answered was
God: I want you to bring what you had in Singapore to London.

me: ummm... what did i have in singapore ??
God: your networking
me: networking?
God: yeah, bring more people to church
God then presented me a list of names and even mentioned my new office friends. Lagi cheem, told me to start bible study group in office! *faint*

me: *gulp* office?

God: yeah, so your cell group will overflow with people!

and like Moses who doubt himself, i asked how i was going to bring more office friends to church when i do not know many of them.

God: but you know people who do!

*faint*

God 1 point, yileen 0 point

Conversation with God continued and I asked many of my questions which He answered after a little nudge... hehe..

basically, i had a real nice session with God. it was very real and for once i knew that it was not my human imagination answering.

After the excercise, we were encouraged to continue journaling our conversations with God. and guess when is the best time for me to journal. unexpectedly, it was on my way to work on the tube. Thank God i have a seat daily as my stop is the 1st station. admidst the crowd, i feel more alone and able to just communicate with God. strange huh??

will try to keep this journaling up. well as a matter of fact since i arrived in london, i have been writing in a journal. so its all in line... All in God's good time!

Who said my God not cool???
