Thank God. Nothing else i can say! I moved on 1 sep. on a sat and there were already threats of a tube strike scheduled to happen on monday 3 sep. to my horror it actually happened. But THANK GOD! because i move to Arsenal, my tube lines to get me to and from work are Northern and Picadilly Line and these 2 lines were the 2 of 3 lines that was working during the strike. If i was still in Leyton, I shudder to think how i would have gotten to work! well, it would be a real hassle and i am glad i moved before the strike. during those few days, the tubes were jammed pack with people, many people were late and there was a public outcry that the strike was for nothing as the Union did not achieve anything out of it. Seriously? the government already promised that no jobs will be lost with the fall of Metronet and nothing changed during the strike! only inconvenience. chey! waste time! workers want a holiday, say la!! chey!

well, despite the strike, i still managed to visit an Ikea half an hour from my house. i cannot resist shopping for my new home! I have to buy plates and cutlery and wat nots for my new pad right? well, keng hau who was staying with me during the week, cannot but help shaking his head when he saw me buying so much stuff. but seriously, i need plates and bowls right? and with only chopsticks, not very efficient right? and its my kitchen! i even bought a new plant ! lets see how long this green plant will last!
