after a couple of hours, we went home, round up the troop before heading to my uncle's house for a visit. followed by a lunch before heading to taeim's place to meet up with some of my ex colleagues. it was nice hanging out with the girls. we never really understood why we were so close as colleagues. we saw each other so often and we still hung out after work. most of us left the office already. but we still pretty much kept in touch.
After meeting the girls, sharon, olivia and taeim, i went home to meet my uncle ben's family. The 3 boys and catherine with steven with her 2 kids. we all then trooped out for a teochew dinner.
there was no time to lose. after resting for a while after dinner, i went out for supper. this time, we were joined by bernard and minwon. i can only manage a cup of kopi. the murtabak was damn tempting but there was no way i can put that in anymore.
i think we stayed til 1am and my old time JC mate and close neighbour called to meet up, so we hung out in her car in my carpark... chat for 1.5 hrs. before i headed home. all this time i was talking to chu ai, my eyes were semi closed. its amazing how i kept awake. but it was nice catching up with her. if her plans go well, i might not see her for the next few years.
