So alex has been complaining that he has been going to canary wharf and finchley road and we have not been to his side of the world at Fulham Broadway. So we all decided to have a HUGE thai buffet lunch near his place. The food was great and the deco of the place is decorated in such as way i thought i was in thailand! hehe. there was a live musician playing some traditional music and even the passionfruits were imported from thailand direct! (according to alex who was so 'ah gah liow' with the manager there that when i mentioned the name 'alex' she went' oh... table 63' impressed!) . We called valerie during lunch as well. poor girl was working on a project when we called.... oh well, i guess we did make her day!
so after we were so stuffed with lunch we continued with Harry Potter, the movie. not exactly impressed. it was ok. the kissing scene was ok. i think Luna is a little strange. think hermione and ron should just get it on. love the Wesley twins and their antics. Hagrid's brother reminds me of Shrek. Delores is irritating in pink and her cat in the frames is a bao to king! pity Drayco Malfoy, the yandao did not get much air time. long bottom is growing up and thank goodness is looking better. My favourite scene was when Harry flew past the House of Parliament in London at night! Felt a sense of awe... thinking that i am actually in London now.
gosh we were so not impressed by a row of kids sitting behind us talking through the show! i turned back 2 times to shut them up to no avail. 没家教！！i mean, the father was there and he did not even bother shutting them up after i told them off! and they went on opening bags and bags of chips and one of them kept asking for Coke Cola... no Coke ok... Coke Cola.... *faint*
seriously... argh.. i was so irritated, i know the boys were too. there was this couple across the aisle who kept looking back too lor! argh.
anyway, it was a good Sunday! =)
