My self indulgence Saturday

The week that just passed had been a really challenging one at work. On friday during my usual cell meeting, there was essentially only 1/3 of me left. i was really glad the weekend came.

This morning, i did my usual toilet call at 7.15am and went back to bed til 10-ish. decided to finish my Dan Brown book which was such a page turner! it's about US presidential election, NASA, CIA... it was quite a read! to think i only started reading it last weekend. I even had to slow myself down as i did not want the book to end too quickly! =)

so i finished my book in bed, made myself some breakfast. went back to bed again until 12nn. rushed out of the house at 12.30 to meet weichin and melanie for our movie date. Weichin actually forgot to bring her movie pass and had to rush home to get it...


1st movie was Bourne Ultimatum. i missed the 2nd Bourne show, but i am glad it was not exactly related. it was really cool actually seeing scenes from Waterloo station. it was a really cool feeling to know that .... 'hey, i know this place, i pass by Waterloo station sometime!' then this sense of awe just takes over. =) hehe... just like when Harry Potter flew by the House of Parliament at night. I could almost scream. 'I am in London! I'm here in the city where they filmed this!!!' After the movie, Weichin, Melanie, Roland and I went to chinatown to yum cha! =) yum. I love dimsum! after a spin in the supermarket.. oo i bought mui choi... gonna cook mui choi next week! =) hahaha... then Melanie left me. since it was early, i decided to catch another movie. =) i was thinking of catching 'Knocked Up' but the timing was not right. so i went for Run, Fat Boy Run. Directed by David Schwimmer.

it was quite funny and it was filmed in london as well! look i did not choose the movie cuz its all london and all, it was the next movie within the next half hour available! =)

anyway, the guy in the movie dennis had to run a marathon and the guess where the starting point is? its just below my office!!!! literally below my office building! i did not see any film making, prob happened a long time ago. but it was really nice to see my office area in BIG screen!! and its by River Thames =)

btw.. this is my 1st movie i watched alone... EVER! =)

quite amazing huh? =)

and the evening ended with me having a nice long bath at home =) awww... nice .... and i think its now time for my beauty sleep.... =)
