My company's event of the year was really quite a nice experience. We were treated to endless champagne before a 3 course dinner of goats cheese, beef fillet and passionfruit cheesecake. The decor of the hall was dreamy and mysterious. we had jugglers and acrobats fashioned after Cirque De Soleil performing.
It was really fun seeing all the guys from my company all decked out in tuxedo as well. =) Everyone looked so smart! After dinner, we had a really bad DJ playing really old music. There was no particular genre of music. Any kind of music you can think of .... they played. oldies, soft rock, R&B, Pop, country, slow.... UNBELIEVABLE!!! but we had quite a lot of fun dancing nonetheless. I spent most of my time dancing with 2 japanese colleagues. HAHAHA..... they are energizer bunnies. They danced NON-STOP from around 11pm til 2am!!!! without stopping!!!
I really had a fun time. In my CEO's opening speech, he reminded us to have fun and to expect some to crawl into office on monday in embarassement after any potential antics at the party.
Yes, i believe some of us will be talking about a couple who was making out, drunk people dancing and lots more. haha.... at least i will not be part of the office gossip on monday. hahaha... i think... haha...
