usually at the end of each year, around the dec period, i will look back to recap what i have done or what i have not done the year.
i look back at 2007 and stand amazed at what had happened. who knew 1 year ago, i would be sitting on my current couch in my pj (i dun wear pj!) typing in this blog in cold london?
In a nutshell, decided to take a stab at the visa application Mid Feb 2007. Quit R in April, served notice til end of April. pack my bags and came to london in Mid May. Went for a few interviews and got job within 59 days of arriving in london. explored spain in detail in 2007 and also differnt parts of england. settled down and hung out with different groups of friends. mami came to visit 3 times and papa 1 time.
yup. thats all in a nutshell. if anyone needs details. my entire blog would be a testiment for the entire's events. haha...
what is in store for me in 2008? nothing is for sure. all i know is that i am heading back to singapore for chinese new year on 2 feb. it will only be for a wk. will prob have a stab at another visa to extend my stay in london. if its not successful, i will go back to singapore, not that fussed really and of coz while i am on this side of earth, i prob will visit a couple more countries. probably Italy, Portugal and Czech. we'll see.
