I have to trudge on!!! I will complete my BCN account!
So on Christmas Eve, we were told the shops will be closed early, so we decided to not go to Parc Guell first. ( it was told to us that it will be opened on Christmas day!) so we roamed and did our shopping. Did not buy much really. But on the way, we found a hotel serving a Christmas Eve 3 course dinner for 18 Euros each. The kiasu us decided to make our reservation. I mean, back home in Singapore, the places would have been fully booked up, so we did not want to take out chances.
The highlight of the day was indeed the dinner!!! Dinner was at the hotel called Olivia Plaza Hotel. From a 3 course dinner of start, main and dessert with a glass of wine. we ended up with caviar starter and mushroom croquette, followed by our fresh prawn starter, fabulous main and a christmas log cake for dessert. The chef even threw in some sweets for dessert! If the ambience and food was not good enough, we had the entire place to ourselves! now my papa can say that he bao the entire restaurant for christmas eve dinner! hahaha....
