Then came a potted bunch of Peace Lilies from *surprise surprise*, Ah Ru! actually i am not that surprised la, she is the sort who would send postcards and gifts to friends all over the world. her famous Ah Ru Mail.
That's my office desk. As you can see, i get the window view into the horizon. It's quite cool actually, but its not exactly the prettiest of views as just below, there is construction going on. But that said, i finally understand what my papa is saying when he said the guys put the hollow in the middle concrete slab and place it around steel sticks, then pour cement into the hollow and seal the steel sticks to the concrete slabs. haha. finally i geddit! =)
anyhow, the plant is from Ah ru, it came with a small cake and chocolates. The box by the table was what it came in. =)
Its sorta like a UK office tradition thingy. your birthday, you buy some treats for colleagues, so i bought 28 krispe kreme donuts for them all. i still remember my bad experience with krispe kreme when i did a road trip through Yosemite in US man... *vomittttt*
