New York City Ballet

Part of the London experience for me was a watch a ballet and what better way then to watch the NYCB when they were in town. Thanks to Meimei who organise, I really had an enjoyable evening. i did not fall asleep.. hehe.

The ballet was at the London Coliseum. The sheer size of theatres never fail to amaze. from the outside, the facade of the building, it looks just like another building, but once you are inside. it is massive. =) unbelieveable!

The ballet consist of 4 dances. The 1st is my favourite. its called Carousel. its a love story among a carousel. the movements were really good and there was a stark difference between the lead dancer and the rest of the dancers. =)

The 3rd on was called In Vento which means ' In Wind'. there was a part when 4 guys where holding hands and and weaving in and out of each others arms. i had to ask myself, ' do these guys have any bones in their body?' hehe

the 2nd dance and 4th dance was called Zakoushi ( russian hor d'oeuvres ) and Russian Dance respectively. both had nice moments.

all in all, a really nice evening with the girls. =) This pic was taken by a shop that sells tutus and ballet costume. so cute!

next up for london experience.... Opera!
