The next day in Lucern after breakfast and 1st in Q for the tickets to the Golden Tour, we started our journey with a steamboat from Lucern to Vitnau, then we took a train up Moutain Rigi. it reached a height of 1800m. After walking in snow for a bit and with arnd giving me scrowls as his expensive leather shoes were soaked in snow, we enjoyed the snowed capped mountain view. Arnd really took care of me and my poor leg as some parts of the snow was quite deep. i was so scared of falling/slipping!!!
After all the huffing and puffing, we took a break before heading down to Staffel. We then took the cable car down to Weggis for our return boat ride to Lucern.
The trip took about 6 hours and we were running to catch our train to Bern for a stopover when we got back to Lucern! haha.
The scenary was really beautiful. It is no Matterhorn (Tolberon chco mountain) but it was great nonetheless! besides, i got to see the snow i missed in london in my previous holidays in greece and italy!!
