met audrey yesterday. we decided to buy some takeaway sushi from Japan Center in Picadilly Circus to have it at St James Park. The sun was warm and there was a cool breeze in the air. It felt like a marvellous day to spend in the park.
weather at Japan Center: warm, cool breeze
After devouring our sushi rolls and enjoying the ducks in the pond and a desperate pigeon trying to get it on by doing his mating call to any bird that came along, we left St James for ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts).
weather: sunny sun, cold winds
Audrey is a patron of ICA and we went to see an exhibition - 'Memorial to the Iraq War'. Not exactly impressed though. feels like some modern idea of exhibition with ideas so far fetched, its seems an insult to the exhibition. There was a video clip by a dutch guy about the war and what he feels about it, which we gave up watching mid way. feels like some b*ll crap home video. I think the war deserves more than this!
when we came out of ICA, it started to drizzle for a little while.
weather: light drizzles
anyhow, after the exhibition, we walked around Covent Garden
weather: cloudy with sun
we finally settled down at 7 dial hotel bar for a drink while waiting for Patrick to join us for a drink and dinner. By the time Patrick got to Covent Garden and called to ask for directions to Dial, it was massively pouring like cats and dogs!
weather: pouring buckets of rain
Patrick arrived a little drenched, but thankfully, he had on a nice leather jacket.
weather: drizzle
When we left Dial, all we have left was the wind .... no rain
weather: cold chilly winds
