Some cell groups from my church (mine included) hosted a Chinese New Year Party for the students last sat.

I was supposed to be in a 3 men team in charge of the games for evening and be the mc for the night!

thankfully, we had james, who had all the games all pat down. All i did was to go to a supermarket to load up on snacks for the prize hamper. =)

The games went well, thanks to James who led it.

MC was such a daunting thought, especially to a crowd of 100+ people. So it was down to this student and I to try to figure it out. thankfully another student was keen on doing the ra- ra stuff to try to get crowd to be a little more responsive. anyway, i worked on running through the sequence of events with the 2 young things that evening. i like doing that better really.

in between helping the young things, i plonk myself at the welcome desk to greet guests as well.. =)

it was a marvellous event actually, but there was so much food left! we even started selling the food to the spanish congregation and was giving out the food befor the people left! haha. typical of a church event right? happens in singapore, happens in london too!
